Interesting view and good reference to GDPR. What source is telling us that Apple will not be prohibiting a degraded experience for users who do not opt-in? Can that be binary? no consent = no access to content? I am thinking about ads-heavy pubs that don't monetize with IAP.
They haven't announced any prohibition yet. I don't believe there's any rule today that would prohibit an app publisher from refusing access to someone who didn't provide consent. It's the app publisher who is losing a possible user which then moves to another app still on iOS.
